Ian leads the firm’s Insolvency, Investigation and Litigation teams where he oversees complex insolvency disputes and investigations into professional misconduct within the insolvency sector. His role encompasses a wide range of contentious insolvency matters as well as overseeing portfolios of cases transferred from former insolvency practitioners whose licenses have been withdrawn by regulatory bodies.

He has extensive experience investigating claims arising out of insolvency estates and scrutinizing the conduct of former officeholders. This often involves pursuing actions against insolvency bonds for fraud, dishonesty, or other breaches of duties.

With a strong legal background, Ian is well placed to manage our litigation team and use his experience from previously working in the legal sector regularly acting in claims against insolvency practitioners stemming from misconduct during their appointment. His dual expertise in law and insolvency enables him to bring a rigorous, litigation-driven approach to complex financial disputes.
